The Market Development Director will identify and sell RecycleBank rewards programs to local authorities directly and in partnership with a large, private recycling collection company. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for securing relationships with local authorities and collection companies who are interested in encouraging and rewarding households to participate in our kerbside recycling rewards program. The Director will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the sale, from customer identification through delivering proposals, analyzing pricing, negotiating contracts, and closing the sale.

Prior to joining RecycleBank, Alexa was an Associate at RRE Ventures, where she focused on investments in early-to-mid-stage information technology companies. Previously she worked on strategy and business development for GoldPocket Wireless (acquired by Motricity), and as an Investment Banker at UBS she focused on Telecom, Media & Technology. Alexa is also the Co-founder of Cents Ability, a non-profit volunteer organization that teaches basic financial literacy to teens throughout New York City. Alexa holds an AB with Honors from Harvard University, where she was Commodore of the Radcliffe Varsity Crew, and also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. |
